A voice credit is the unit used to run an AI action in Kaneme. An authorship verdict costs 1 credit, a voice certificate costs 3, and writing or analysis actions cost between 1 and 5 credits depending on the work involved. Kaneme shows the cost before every action, and does not charge for a measurement that returns no verdict.

Purchased credits do not expire

What exactly is a voice credit?+

Can I see the cost before starting an action?+
Yes. The editor action menu, comparison view and prompts show the credit cost before you start. Your remaining balance stays visible in the sidebar, with a detailed history on your account page.
What happens if I use all my monthly credits?+
You can move to the Pro plan, which includes 1,000 credits per month, or buy a credit pack. Purchased credits do not expire and are used only after your monthly allowance runs out.
Do unused credits roll over?+
Monthly plan credits reset at each billing period and do not roll over. Credits bought in a separate pack do not expire. The two balances remain separate.
Why use credits instead of unlimited usage?+
Each action uses premium AI models with materially different operating costs. A lightweight pattern review and a full voice compilation do not consume the same resources. Weighted credits preserve quality and make the cost visible instead of silently switching to a weaker model.
How many credits do you need?
Both subscriptions refresh their allowance each month. Purchased top-ups never expire, and the free account requires no card.
