Kaneme

Sales terms

Last updated: September 12, 2026 · Publisher: Yiriwa LLC

These terms govern purchases of Kaneme subscriptions and credits. They describe what the service actually does—including when it refuses to act because a measurement would not be reliable.

Read the French version.

1. Purpose and scope

These sales terms govern the sale of Kaneme subscriptions and credits, a service published by Yiriwa LLC. They apply to every subscription purchased through Kaneme surfaces, regardless of the payment method used.

Kaneme is an independent service. No subscription to another service, including the IA Signal media outlet also published by Yiriwa LLC, grants access to Kaneme; conversely, a Kaneme subscription grants no rights to those other services.

Every subscription constitutes acceptance of these terms in the version in force on the order date.

2. Service description

From texts supplied by the customer, Kaneme builds a voice profile (“DNA”), then provides operations based on that reference: authorship verdict, text comparison, realignment, writing assistance, and voice certificate. The same identity and measurement rules are available through the application, REST API, and MCP server.

The service relies on statistical models. It produces scores, probabilities, and intervals; it provides no certainty and is not a judicial, graphological, or legal authentication assessment. The customer remains solely responsible for decisions made from these results.

When the conditions for a reliable measurement are not met—text too short, insufficient reference material, or distance from the measured domain—the service expressly abstains from returning a verdict. This abstention is normal and expected behavior.

3. Plans, credits, and billing unit

As of the date of these terms, paid plans are Essential ($15 per month or $150 per year, with 300 credits per month) and Pro ($30 per month or $300 per year, with 1000 credits per month). Annual plans are billed once for twelve months.

A credit is the service’s unit of consumption. Each operation uses a number of credits determined by its nature and computing cost. This cost is shown before the operation runs, and the remaining balance is communicated afterward.

An operation that produces no usable result is not charged: a measurement from which the service abstains, a refused certificate, or an operation interrupted by a technical error consumes no credit, or the committed credit is restored automatically.

Monthly credits included in a subscription are tied to the current billing period and do not roll over. Credits purchased separately as a top-up do not expire and are used only after the period allowance has been exhausted.

4. Free plan

A free account includes 4 credits per day, renewed daily, with no payment method, commitment, or time limit. This allowance is intended for evaluating the service; clearly automated use or use intended to bypass paid plans may be limited.

The free account can be used equally through the application, REST API, and MCP server. The surface from which an operation is requested changes neither its credit price nor the allowance to which it is charged. Features tied to a subscription tier—including the number of voice profiles and reserved operations—are not unlocked by this allowance, regardless of the surface used.

5. Prices and payment

Applicable prices are those displayed before the order is confirmed. They are stated in United States dollars. The amount actually charged is the amount shown in the order summary.

Card payments are collected in United States dollars. A customer whose bank account is held in another currency may be charged conversion costs and fees set by their bank; Yiriwa LLC neither collects nor determines those fees, and the debited amount may differ from the displayed amount.

Payment is processed by an authorized payment provider. Yiriwa LLC stores no payment-card data.

Any pricing change is announced before it applies. It never applies to a period already paid for and takes effect at the following renewal, which the customer remains free to refuse by cancelling.

6. Term, renewal, and cancellation

Subscriptions are entered into for the selected period and renew automatically at the end of that period unless cancelled beforehand.

The customer may cancel at any time from the Kaneme subscription area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: access and the credits for that period remain available until then, without a prorated refund. This rule applies to ordinary cancellation and does not affect the withdrawal right in section 7, which does provide for a prorated refund.

Yiriwa LLC may suspend or terminate an account for a serious breach of the terms of use, including fraudulent use, a threat to service security, or non-payment. Except in a security emergency, the customer is first given formal notice.

7. Right of withdrawal

A consumer customer has fourteen days from subscription to withdraw without giving a reason. This right may be exercised by a simple request to Yiriwa LLC or by cancelling the subscription from the customer area.

Because the service is supplied immediately, the refunded amount is calculated in proportion to the unused part of the period on the withdrawal date. If the service has not been used, the refund is full.

This clause does not limit mandatory rights granted to consumers under the law of their country of residence.

8. Availability and liability

Yiriwa LLC uses reasonable means to maintain service availability and continuity, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced when its duration warrants it.

For a single event, Yiriwa LLC’s liability under a subscription is limited to the sums actually paid by the customer during the preceding twelve months. It does not cover indirect damage, including loss of business, revenue, reputation, or data for which the customer kept no copy.

These limitations do not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where applicable law excludes them.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, United States, where Yiriwa LLC has its registered office, subject to any more protective mandatory provisions in the consumer customer’s country of residence.

In the event of difficulty, the customer is invited to contact Yiriwa LLC to seek an amicable solution before initiating legal proceedings.
